Description

First stop of your Champagne tour : Reims. Short visit of the Cathedral, a gothic masterpiece where the Kings of France came to be crowned.
In the morning, visit of a small wine-grower near Epernay, at Mutigny. Depending on the activity you will see the grapes’ press, winery, blending, riddling, and disgorging. Then top it off with a glass of the vineyard’s champagne.

Later on, lunch in a restaurant in the centre of Epernay with a traditional menu from the Champagne region.

The afternoon begins at Epernay with a visit of the world famous MOËT & CHANDON* champagne house where an expert explains the method of Champagne making from grape picking to bottling. (Tasting session: one glass of Champagne offered). Return to Paris following a part of the Marne River.
