Discover the Burgundy region in a small group where the french art-de-vivre is totally represented. You will visit the Bouchard Ainé & Fils domain (or similar) and have a gourmet lunch in Beaune in a renowned restaurant. You will explore the Château de Pommard, a famous vineyard. This trip is a cosmopolitan blend of food, wine, and culture, a perfect fit for those who like the finer things in life!
The trip will depart from our Louvre Agency, where you should arrive around 6:15 am. You will be met by our driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout the trip, before leaving for Beaune. You will have four hours in our comfortable minibus to admire the French countryside in all of its sublime diversity!
Discover Burgundy countryside
You will arrive in Beaune around 10:00 am and head off to the Maison Bouchard Ainé et Fils for a unique sensory experience. The guide will explain the details of the wine-making process to you and will also tell you the story of the famous Bouchard family of wine makers. After this visit, you will have a greater appreciation for the role that hearing, touch, and smell have in the wine-making process. Your visit will end with a wine tasting.
After thus whetting your appetite, you will be taken to a gourmet restaurant in Beaune. You will be served a three-course meal in an exceptional setting, in a 1 star Michelin high-end restaurant "Loiseau des Vignes" (or similar) . You will savor each moment you spend enjoying typical French dishes. Your meal comes with two glasses of local wine.

Once this gourmet break is over, you will get back on the road to visit the Château de Pommard vineyard. You will learn about the history of the largest wine estate in Burgundy and have the chance to stroll through the 20 hectares of vines. Pommard is famous for its pinot noir grapes which were first planted by Benedictine monks in 900 AD. Since then, family-held wine estates have played an important role in Burgundy's wine production, which has continued to evolve and now welcomes visitors to enjoy a wide array of experiences. This visit will end with a tasting of Domaine de Pommard wines.
You will leave Burgundy around 3:00 pm and will arrive at our Louvre agency around 6:45 pm.
