Once on board our panoramic bus, equipped with individual headphones to listen to the commentary given in the language of your choice, you can discover the richness of the Parisian heritage. Across the grand avenues such as the famous Champs Elysées, dominated by the Arc de Triomphe, the magnificent bridges of Paris that span the Seine (the Pont Neuf, the Pont des Arts or the Pont Alexandre III), the lively neighborhoods such as that of the Opéra, or near the Latin Quarter, you will discover the most symbolic monuments of Paris. You will see the Eiffel Tower, a must-see sight, the famous museums, the Louvre and the Orsay, the majestic Notre-Dame de Paris and the famous Panthéon and the Invalides.
In the middle of the Parc de Villette in Paris, you can visit the incredible Philharmonie de Paris. This complex was developed with the creation of the Cité de la Musique in 1995. It includes the museum dedicated to the evolution of western music from the 16th century to current times, where more than 1,000 instruments are displayed. There, you can also see the concert hall, which can hold up to 1,600 people standing and the Ampitheater, where concerts and performances are shown.
In 2005, the Philharmonie de Paris was unveiled by the architect Jean Nouvel, who gave the building a futuristic aspect, adjoining the Cité de la Musique. Don’t miss a visit to the impressive great hall, which can hold close to 2,400 spectators. Its arrangement over 5 levels gives the structure a symphonic character. You can also see the various rehearsal rooms reserved for the orchestras. Numerous educational activities are offered to children in the various areas of the Philharmonie.
You can complete your visit by climbing to the Belvédère de la Philharmonie, which offers a superb view over Paris and the Parc de la Villette, and/or you can stop at the restaurant “le balcon” to combine a meal with the panoramic view.
