Although Paris is a city where many people love to walk, the car still often reigns supreme, with a few exceptions! For this reason, the Champs Elysées Avenue has been given back to pedestrians once a month! If you dream of visiting Paris by foot and admiring the windows of the dazzling shops in the world's most beautiful avenue without the stress of traffic and the beeping of horns, mark your calendar with an X on the next day that the Champs Elysées will be reserved for pedestrians like you!

The Champs Elysées where the pedestrian is king

Close you eyes and take a deep breath. No engines roaring, no exhaust fumes, only the sound of the wind rustling the leaves and the laughter of people out for a stroll. Here you are in a peaceful haven, where there is a country feel in the heart of the city: the Champs Elysées Avenue belongs to pedestrians like you!

Walk peacefully along the sidewalks or even in the middle of the street. Stroll down the avenue, admire the shop windows brimming with treasures from the boutiques on both sides of the street, or stop for a cold drink on the terrace of a cafe. This is the perfect time to enjoy with your family before visiting the Arc de Triomphe.
