This combo tour will also allow you to visit the famous Palace of Versailles. This unmissable royal residence will take you back to the Kings of France period, from Francis I to Louis XVI.

Enjoy a morning discovering Paris aboard an open-top bus.  You can take either one or both of the tours organized by Big Bus and see the main sites and neighborhoods of Paris.  The first itinerary, called the "red route",  covers the must-see sites located near the Seine.  If you wish, you are welcome to stay on board for the full 2 hours and 20-minute tour.  You can listen to an audio commentary on personal headphones in the language of your choice and learn more about the history of Paris and its iconic landmarks.  While traveling across the city, you can decide to stop on the Champs Elysées.  Here you'll discover the most beautiful avenue in the world, dominated by the majestic Arc de Triomphe which was commissioned by Emperor Napoleon 1.  You can go shopping on the Champs Elysées or head to avenue Montaigne which boasts many luxury boutiques.

You will be asked to return at 1:30 to our Paris City Vision agency, situated in the heart of Paris. You can get there with the Big Bus by getting off at stop no. 4 Louvre-Pyramide, a 10-minute walk from our starting point, right across from the Louvre.  Not far from there is the Palais Royal where you can stop for lunch and admire its magnificent gardens and the surrounding galleries.  If you wish, you can walk to the Place Vendôme, the symbol of Parisian chic style with its splendid hotels and luxury jewelry stores.

At the designated meeting time in front of the agency, climb aboard a coach that will take you to Versailles.  During the trip, you'll listen to an introduction to Château de Versailles in the language of your choice through personal headphones.  After about 40 minutes of travel, the bus will arrive at the Château de Versailles where you can gain easy access using your priority pass.   While listening to an audio-guided commentary, you'll follow the tour and become immersed in the history and lives of the Kings of France.  You can visit the King's Grand Apartments, including the beautiful Apollo Salon, as well as the immense Hall of Mirrors with its 350 mirrors and which features a panoramic view over the gardens. Except on the days of the Grandes Eaux Musicales, you can visit the gardens and admire the fountains, parterres of flowers and the carefully preserved groves.
