Essential Rights Under Directive (EU) 2015/2302 as transposed into the French Tourism Code.

Travelers will receive all essential information about the package before concluding the package travel contract.

The organizer and the retailer are responsible for the proper performance of all the travel services included in the contract.

Travelers will be given an emergency telephone number or details of a contact point where they can get in touch with the organizer or the retailer.

Travelers may transfer the package to another person, upon reasonable notice and possibly subject to additional costs.

The price of the package may only be increased if specific costs increase (for example, fuel prices) and if this possibility has been explicitly provided for in the contract, and in any case, the price may not be changed less than 20 days before the start of the package.

If the price increase exceeds 8% of the package price, the traveler may terminate the contract. If the organizer reserves the right to a price increase, the traveler is entitled to a price reduction if there is a decrease in the corresponding costs.

If any of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, are changed significantly, travelers may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee and receive a full refund of the payments they have made. If the professional responsible for the package cancels the package before the start of the package, travelers are entitled to a refund and compensation, where appropriate.

Travelers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee before the start of the package in the event of exceptional circumstances, for example, if there are serious safety problems at the destination that may affect the package.

In addition, at any time before the start of the package, travelers may terminate the contract by paying an appropriate and justifiable termination fee.

If, after the start of the package, important elements of the package cannot be provided as planned, other appropriate services must be offered to travelers, without additional cost.

Travelers may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee, if the services are not performed in accordance with the contract and this significantly disrupts the performance of the package, and if the organizer does not remedy the problem.

Travelers are also entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation in the event of non-performance or improper performance of the travel services.

The organizer or retailer must provide assistance if the traveler is in difficulty.

If the organizer or the retailer become insolvent, the amounts paid will be refunded. If the organizer or the retailer become insolvent after the start of the package and if transport is included in the package, the repatriation of travelers is guaranteed. PARISCityVISION has taken out insolvency protection with APST. Travelers may contact this entity (APST 15 avenue Carnot, 75017 PARIS, 01 44 09 25 35, info@apst.travel) if services are denied as a result of the insolvency of PARISCityVISION.

PARIS CITY VISION reserves the right to cancel or change certain tours without notice if this is necessary to insure the comfort or safety of passengers, in particular in the event of force majeure, strikes, natural disasters, cultural events, administrative decisions or unexpected closures. Force majeure refers to any event outside the control of the affected party, of an unpredictable, irresistible and insurmountable nature, which prevents PARIS CITY VISION from performing all or part of its obligations under this contract.

If PARIS CITY VISION cancels a tour, customers may request a refund of their tickets or of any packages they have booked.

Regarding Paris Seine - La Marina, being that cruises are subject to the rules of navigation, the service company reserves the right to determine whether or not rivers are navigable. Cruises may be canceled or modified at any time, beginning from the date of their booking, including on the day scheduled for departure, in accordance with the above-mentioned rules, or in the event of poor weather which may endanger the safety of the passengers on these cruises.

Within the limits provided by governing law, in case of cancelation of a cruise due to force majeure (such as floods, prohibitions on navigation by the authorities, etc.) a discount of 15% of the total amount, excluding options, will be applied.

The organizer or agency may cancel the trip if the minimum number of participants has not been registered:

  • Twenty days before the departure date, for trips of more than 6 days
  • Seven days before the departure date, for trips of 2 to 6 days.
  • Forty-eight hours before the departure date, for 2-day trips.

Within the limits provided by governing law, the travelers will then be reimbursed for all the sums they have paid, but will not be entitled to compensation.

Article 3 – Prices

The prices include all the services indicated in the description of each tour or service.

The prices mentioned are quoted per person and in euros unless otherwise specified.

These prices include VAT.

The prices mentioned on this website are only valid for bookings made directly online, on the website.

The promotions displayed on the website are valid only on the website and may not be claimed on another sales channel. These prices have certain features, including dates that will be mentioned.

Article 4 – Children’s rates

Children’s rates are valid from ages 3 to 11 inclusive, unless otherwise specified in the descriptions of the individual products. In some cases, the age may vary. For more information, please refer to the details of the tour as specified on the website.

For example, for Disneyland Paris ®, children’s rates are valid from ages 3 to 11 inclusive.

Children under 3 years of age inclusive (infants) are free. However, booking is necessary in order to guarantee the availability of a child’s seat, which is mandatory according to French regulations. Infants cannot ride on their parents’ laps in minibuses. Meals are not included and an extra charge must be paid on location.

Article 5 – Operations and departure time

  • For excursions departing from our agencies and departure point :

Customers must check in between 30 minutes and 20 minutes before departure time for all tours and activities departing from our agencies (see Article 15: Our agencies and points of departure/sales).

Boarding will close 10 minutes before departure time.

  • Premium excursions in shared or private minibuses:

Customers who are staying in a private apartment must arrive in the hotel lobby or at the main entrance of the building at least 15 minutes before departure.

  • For on-site departure tours:

Customers must arrive on site at least 15 minutes in advance.

  • For Paris Seine - La Marina services:

Customers must arrive at least 15 minutes before the boat’s departure time.

We cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for delays caused by an event outside the control of our company, traffic irregularities, strikes, demonstrations, unexpectedly closed establishments or weather warnings.

For operational management reasons, we need to know the local contact details of passengers (mobile phone number, email address and hotel location). This information must be specified at the time of booking (see Article 1).

According to our Privacy Policy, PARIS CITY VISION undertakes not to use this information for commercial purposes.

Article 6 – Payment terms

Payment must be made, in full and by one of the available payment methods, at the time of booking.

Article 7 – Transfer of the contract

In accordance with Article L. 211-11 of the French Tourism Code, you may transfer this contract, provided that it has not been implemented and up to seven days before departure, by notifying the agency within a reasonable time of your wish to transfer the contract to a person who fulfills the same conditions as you do. You and the recipient of the transfer remain jointly and severally liable for the payment of the balance of the contract and of the transfer costs, which we will inform you of.

Article 8 - Dress code for evening excursions

Elegant business casual attire is required for evening shows, including the Moulin Rouge, dinner at the Eiffel Tower and the dinner cruise. For men, jackets and dress shoes are appreciated. No shorts, jeans, sports shoes or beach shoes such as “flip-flops.”

Article 9 - Customers with reduced mobility

Only certain excursions are equipped to accommodate customers with reduced mobility. It is strongly recommended to always check at the time of booking whether the tour actually offers the option for customers with reduced mobility.

Customers with reduced mobility must be accompanied by an able-bodied person. Guides, escorts and bus drivers are not authorized to assist customers with reduced mobility.

In order for us to offer the best possible service, it is essential for customers to inform PARIS CITY VISION when booking equipment for people with reduced mobility. Otherwise, the passenger may be refused access and returned at his/her own expense.

If there is no suitable means of transport, the customer must be able to board independently, with the assistance of another person.

At the time of booking, information about the type of equipment used must be provided to the PARIS CITY VISION booking service (please specify the dimensions of the wheelchair, whether it is electric or mechanical and if it can be folded), so that we can offer the most suitable service.

Non-folding wheelchairs will not be accepted on board.

Similarly, guide dogs will only be accepted if PARIS CITY VISION is informed at the time of booking and if a guide dog card is presented.

Article 10 – Liability

Within the limits provided by governing law, PARIS CITY VISION cannot be held liable for failure to perform the Agreement in the event of force majeure, as defined in Article 1218 of the French Civil Code and French case law, or in the event of damage caused by a third party outside its control or due to improper or non-compliant use of the Services by the Customer, in breach of PARIS CITY VISION’s instructions.

Within the limits provided by governing law, in the event of strict liability on the part of the service providers, the compensation limits resulting from international agreements in accordance with Article L. 211-17-IV of the French Tourism Code shall apply. Failing this, and except in the case of personal injury, intentional or negligent damage, any damages shall be limited to three times the total price of the trip or the stay.

Personal items

PARIS CITY VISION and its providers cannot be held liable for the loss or theft of personal items or luggage during transport, tours and excursions, and we are not obliged to find or to return personal items.

All costs incurred with regard to lost or stolen personal items shall be borne by the customer.

Only small bags are allowed, in accordance with the regulations for national museums and monuments.

Customers may not leave their luggage in our agencies or in our buses during the tours.

Tours outside of French territory

For tours outside of French territory, it is the customer’s responsibility to verify that he/she has the necessary documents for his/her stay (a current identity card or a passport with visa if necessary).

Discontinuance of tours

No refund will be given if the customer chooses to discontinue the route or service during the provision of service.

A customer’s voluntary departure from the tour will release PARIS CITY VISION from any obligation and from any liability for any incident that may occur after the customer’s departure and will result in the customer waiving any recourse against PARIS CITY VISION.

Customer delay

Any delay will be considered to be a discontinuation of the tour due to the customer’s voluntary departure and will have the same result. In this event, PARIS CITY VISION shall therefore be relieved of all liability and the customer must return at his/her own expense.

Drugs and alcohol

The customer undertakes to behave in a way that is not contrary to the rules of common sense and is in compliance with the current laws and regulations, in particular the bans on smoking, alcohol consumption and the transport of dangerous goods.

PARIS CITY VISION reserves the right to disembark any passenger who violates the regulations and/or whose behavior is clearly likely to put other passengers, the driver or a third party at risk, without this passenger being able to claim compensation or reimbursement.

We would like to remind you that alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. PARIS CITY VISION cannot be held liable for any behavior or accidents that may occur to customers while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, or for any damage these customers may cause.

Article 11 – Insurance

To this end, the provisions of these TCS are declared stand-alone.
