Paris Museums

Paris is one of the most important cities in the world in terms of art and world culture. The capital houses a treasury of richness through various works of art from all cultures and eras. The City of Lights has 180 museums and monuments visited by tens of millions of people. They house several exceptional collections and masterpieces from the world's greatest artists. The grandest of these is, of course, the Louvre, the most visited museum in the world, home to the Joconde and the Vénus de Milo. Facing the museum, on the left hand bank, the Orsay Museum houses the world's biggest collection of impressionist pieces, notably those of Claude Monet. Not far from here is the Pompidou Centre, which has Europe's biggest collection of modern art. Not forgetting the Invalides, CarnAvalet, Grevin or Rodin museums, the latter housing an exceptional collection of sculptures. Paris is a dream for art lovers, the architectural beauty of its museums, such as Orsay or the Louvre, are alone a work of art.
