You will also enjoy a privileged view on the Eiffel Tower, which will seem very close to you. You will see the most beautiful Parisian avenues, the Place de la Concorde, the Montparnasse Tower and even the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral.
You’ll be able to visit the tomb of the Unknown Soldier under the arch. At the end of the First World War, an unknown soldier was buried under the monument and decorated with the Legion of Honour. It was a tribute to all the soldiers who died for France, commemorating the 1.3 million French soldiers who fell during World War I. Since 1920, associations of veterans or war victims have been rekindling the eternal flame every evening at 6:30 p.m.
